YAP – Your Digital Banking App 4+

This app genuinely gets no star from me

It is an absolutely horrible app. I am student and I had gotten this app as it was convenient in the beginning. Then there came a time where my KYC statement needed to be updated and had gone under review. Restricting me from using the app with my money stuck in the in the account. This was 5 MONTHS AGO!! Till this day I haven’t been able to get access to my account despite contacting them everyday via WhatsApp chat where they are of no help due to they’re automated replies and they do not pick up phone calls even after waiting for for 30+ minutes. Absolutely horrible and inappropriate. Additionally, what was worse that before my services were restricted or my app denied access. I wasn’t unfriend or made aware if this situation at all. Neither was I sent a heads up for the restrictions which would at-least allow me to withdraw all the money. Just one day like every other day, I went in my app to pay my phone credit and I was locked out thinking I forgot the password or something. And if I have any pending documents the agents in-charge won’t even think to inform me of anything that they require unless I spam them on their WhatsApp which gets me nowhere. So please save yourself and DO NOT make an account on this app. It’s been very frustrating and I am still struggling after 5 MONTHS.

Worst bank service ever !!

So I’ve applied for my card almost 1 month ago ! Every time I Check the app it says ( Account activation pending ) with addition to that I haven’t even received my card . There’s no time limit for issue resolving like most reliable BANK’s in UAE do ! All I get every single time I contact an agent is ( your issue has been escalated to the concerned team once it gets resolved you will get updated ) So far I’ve spoken to 8 agents !! No use they don’t bother to send email or even call for an update , Even though I have mentioned that I will be travelling in short time , still it looks like they’re least concerned about our issues when we raise them . If that’s the case for account activation and just card delivery what would happen later if I face any issue with my account or for instance get’s on hold . Anyways I’ll give them 1 more week from my patience balance , i have no clue if I will even bother continue with the running after them for an update on what is going on phase anymore. Their loss at the end they're the one’s who will lose a customer 🙂 I’m so frustrated and it’s such a horrible experience .

JUST AMAZING!

Everything about YAP is so convenient and wonderful! I’ve been using YAP for more than a week now. All I can say is I haven’t encountered a single problem yet. Everything is so easy, the interface of the app is very interactive and easy to use. The staff are very quick with their response and are always there to answer everything. The best feature of YAP is the Apple Pay. I don’t even have to take my card out for everything, I just use my phone for Tap and Pay everywhere. Also the thing I liked the most about YAP is that you receive the card and get it activated with your own Bank Account and it’s amazing digital features in max 3-4 days. While sitting at home and skipping all the hours waiting in queues and answering unnecessary questions that happens in all the other banks. Can’t forget the 50 AED bonus gift they offer you for literally doing nothing but using their amazing services that actually makes your own life easier. Just wonderful!!! 🙌🏻
