Use this app to increase your vocabulary and pronunciation in French or English

Cards, organised in decks, are pre-loaded to improve your vocabulary by doing flashcard quizzes. The cards are reversible so, French speakers can also use the flashcards to improve their English.

The cards were chosen as follows: for each word from lists for the most common words in the English language, a phrase was selected to illustrated the use of the word and these phrases were used for the cards.

A grading system is incorporated whereby cards that were translated correctly in the quizzes get a higher grade. The user should repeat the quizzes to get as many as possible cards at the highest grade.

For each card, audio clips are included for both the front and the back. The audio for the French was recorded by a first language speaker, the English audio was recorded by a second language speaker.

There is also a pre-loaded deck of 250 flags of nations and territories of the world (on some devices, the emoji for the flag might not be visible) and also a user deck where you can add your own new words or phrases.

You can add or modify a deck or add and modify cards in a deck. Therefore, the application has all the capabilities of a flashcard maker.
