Description

Create photo metadata tags using voice recognition and natural language descriptions.

Editing photo metadata the old way involves lots of typing, tabbing, and more typing. Discover a faster and smarter way to make your photos searchable. QromaTag uses your Mac’s built in dictation system to automatically create industry standard photo metadata tags based on your natural voice description. Our Natural Language Tagging engine automatically detects things like dates, locations and people in your description and generates the right tags for you.

It’s never been easier to create searchable metadata for your photos.

Features
• Natural Language Tagging — Forget about the old, complicated way of tagging photos. Start with a description that tells the story of the photo, and QromaTag’s smart tagging engine will find things like precise locations, dates and people and generate the metadata tags for you.
• Relationship Manager — Use words like ‘mom’ or ‘dad’ in your photo description, and QromaTag automatically creates tags for the full name of that person.
• Custom Place Editor — Find and store precise location presets like a childhood home and then generate precise geotagging locations with a single mouse click.
• Tag Multiple Image Formats — QromaTag can write industry standard EXIF and IPTC metadata to JPEG, TIFF, PNG and DNG images.

What’s New

Version 2.7.6

QromaTag v2.7 includes some new features that allow you to tag more image types faster than ever.

• HEIC Support — QromaTag now fully supports reading and writing metadata tags to HEIC images, a next generation imaging format that is the standard on newer iPhones. You can turn on and off support for EIC in the Settings.

• Delete Images — You can now right click on one or more images to send them to the Trash. You can turn on and off the warning in the Settings.
Recursive Gallery - If you have images nested deeply in many folders, you can now see every image in without having to drill down into each folder. Simply Command click a folder label to recursively find all the images in the child folder. This will turn the folder label red and all images will be sorted by filename. You can also Option click on the parent folder to recursively see all the images sorted by the EXIF Capture Date. This will turn the folder label green, and images without embedded dates will appear on top, and the rest will be sorted oldest to newest. You can Command or Option click again to return back to the normal folder level Gallery.

• Enhanced Location Hint — QromaTag now makes it even easier to get precise locations when using Natural Language Tagging. When describing the video, used the '@@' characters to see a dropdown list of your saved locations, and apply it to the photo. You can also use the '##' symbols before and after a location name to see a preview of where the Location will be tagged to before NLT recognition. For example: Ted and Susan at ##Coit Tower## in the fall of 1994.

• Bug Fixes — Improved performance and fixed a crash that occurred when navigating through the Folder List.
