Description
The Imerso app allows non-expert users to start 3D Scanning easily. The app is compatible with Leica's BLK 360 scanners (G1 and G2).
You only need a BLK360 and an iPad to capture any building project yourself. The resulting scans can then be easily compared to the BIM Model to detect any deviations automatically on the Imerso platform.
An active subscription to the Imerso platform is required.

- Bug fixes and small improvements.
PREVIOUSLY: AutoSnapping of scans! Newly captured scans are automatically rotated AND positioned (snapped!) to match the closest one, making the alignment on the topdown view an automatic task. Works best on INDOOR areas with LITTLE clutter, people or furniture.
Some considerations:
- The resulting alignment might not be a milimetric precision, but it doesn't have to be: it will be precisely aligned once uploaded to the Imerso platform.
- The AutoSnap only happens in the topdown view, for now. You still have to make sure the scans are correctly aligned vertically when connecting them together.
- The AutoSnap might fail and place the scan in a completely different position. In those cases you have to manually align the scan to its correct position. Contact us if that happens rather often.
