Description
本軟體為國立臺北教育大學玩具與遊戲設計研究所，盧姝如教授研究團隊(DILD Lab)所設計開發完成，是一款數位學習輔助教具。
「The Insect World」透過擴增實境的技術，讓使用者們能使用行動裝置掃描「昆蟲及非昆蟲」圖卡，藉以在顯示器上呈現出3D立體模型，除了能拿來仔細觀察昆蟲的外型及特徵，另外搭配昆蟲圖鑑之內容，可以更瞭解各種昆蟲的相關知識。
目前圖鑒內容中，
收錄了「獨角仙、鍬形蟲、瓢蟲、蝴蝶、蚱蜢、螳螂、螞蟻、蜜蜂、蜻蜓、天牛」等10種昆蟲，以及「蝸牛、蜥蜴、蜘蛛、青蛙」等4種非昆蟲。
用iPhone/iPad來搭配上圖卡，透過擴增實境的技術能瞭解昆蟲。
