Making music mobile is easy with Noise, your personal musical maestro that sets the stage for you to create 4-track recordings, without special equipment or even musical training.
The app boasts a unique 3D touch interface that transforms your screen into a musical playground. Besides being able to control the volume through the strength of your taps, simply glide your fingers side to side, slide them up and down and press the surface of your screen to unleash your rhythms.
You can choose between two instrumental interfaces; turn your screen sideways to use the Seaboard View, which has the look of a keyboard and is perfect for smooth melodies; or use the Lightpad View, with its grid layout that’s based on a drum pad and good for beats.
Both are modelled on the Seaboard Block and Lightpad Block made by app developer ROLI; pairing either of these products with Noise will open up thrilling new music-making and performance possibilities.
Noise is filled with sounds and audio effects – think guitar leads and blistering saxophones. Use them to create loops with beats and melodies and layer them to build an awesome track.
If you want to elevate things, visit the in-app store and select from a variety of additional soundpacks (crafted by renowned artists like Rudimental and Grimes) from which you can produce your own thumping tunes. And try integrating the app with GarageBand through Noise’s Audio Unit plug-in.
