Description
專業英文PVQC (Professional Vocabulary Credential)是一種行業或學科特定用途的專業英文(English for Specific Purposes, ESP)學習體系，依照學習層次的難易程度可分成: Fundamentals(基礎級), Specialist (專業級), 及 Expert (專家級)等三級。
本App軟體主要內容為數學(Mathematics)學科專業英文，難易程度為Specialist (專業級，簡稱Sp)，提供了數學(Mathematics)的關鍵單字(vocabulary)、關鍵詞(keywords)及關鍵句(key sentences)，約400至500個常用關鍵字詞。
本App軟體主要為提供初學者或不熟悉數位學習方式者可直接使用，不須任何帳號、不會蒐集您的成績資料。請在主畫面點選[Start]進入，即可做練習。練習時，畫面右下角會出現[Authentication Code:OFF]，為正常狀態。
本App內共有六種練習測驗項目，每項測驗皆須完成20個題目。每次練習時，系統會依照設定、隨機挑選題目，共組成120個題目。
其中，[測驗1]的練習檢測時間為20分鐘、40分及格；
[測驗2]至[測驗6]每個項目的練習檢測時間為10分鐘、70分及格。
[測驗1]至[測驗6]以母語(L1,在此為中文)及英文(L2)的識讀與英語聽力(Reading and Listening)等方式交互做練習測驗。對數學(Mathematics)英文關鍵詞彙的識別、聽力及拼寫(Spelling/Writing)，具有相當的學習效果。
與PVQC可配合使用的其他學習體系有：PELC專業英文聽寫能力, GQC文法聽寫能力, VQC一般英文單字能力等。其中，PVQC科學專業英文體系目前有物理(Physics)、數學(Mathematics)、生物科學(Biology)、化學(Chemistry)、地球科學(Earth Sciences)、腦科學(Brain Sciences)等學科專業英文。
