Masternaut has launched a new iPhone/iPad version of its market-leading web-based vehicle tracking service. The ground-breaking Rapide app for iPhone and iPad brings the full functionality of the always-on fully-managed Masternaut service to managers on the move, allowing them full access to vital operational information whenever they are away from the office.
Making real-time and historic vehicle information instantly available to busy managers on an iPhone or iPad enables them to better manage the fleet, which in turn boosts productivity, increases efficiencies and improves customer service.
Rapide allows transport managers to monitor the exact movement of their entire fleet of vehicles with minute-by-minute updates tracked by global positioning satellites using an iPhone or iPad. Rapide also locates and monitors individual vehicles and enables access to current day movement history for each vehicle.
Rapide can also access additional related information, such as a contact database, and let users view today's job on the map.
