In Talking Tom Hero Dash, pink space crystals transform the charming furball and his friends into bona fide super-pets. You start this infinite runner with a literal leg up – running, punching and performing epic jumps that send raccoon thugs scattering when you land.

Smacking those masked bandits isn’t the only way to clear ’em out, though. Collect enough coins and you can pay to make them leave town.

Which brings us to our tricky challenge: amass a cool 2,300 coins in one race, with any character, in any location – without using continues.

All in a day’s work for a furry hero! Especially if you follow these tips:

Knowing when to jump will get you far. Generally speaking, hop early to grab hang gliders and trapezes, and leap at the last second to cross long gaps onto buses or floating platforms.

As the race wears on, you’ll want to adjust your cash-collecting tactics: when the pace is slow in the early going, grab every coin, coin bag, magnet and money multiplier. But as the difficulty ramps up and the speed increases, it’s OK to pass on some of those, particularly if they’re near walls and other dangerous spots.

The longer you last, the more coins you’ll nab, so play to your strengths! Pick an easy course (like the city and tropical ones). Resist the urge to warp to other courses midrun. And if you’re having trouble sliding under hurdles, try jumping over them instead: you can manoeuvre in midair!
