Man vs. Missiles puts you in a plane chased by a barrage of missiles – which, believe it or not, isn’t nearly as terrifying as it sounds.
They fly faster than you, so you can’t just outrun them (except when you grab the occasional speed boost). In this game, agility is life. You’ll need to swoop from side to side to avoid being hit, or fly in loops and figure eights to get two missiles to crash into each other.
Smooth one-thumb controls make this aerial ballet easier than it might seem. Steering is so effortless that playing is genuinely relaxing – even when you’re striving for a longer flight time to unlock faster planes.
Would-be daredevils can take a more dangerous tack, soaring within a hair’s breadth of enemies just to taunt them. There’s no reward for these games of chicken, but like every aspect of Man vs. Missiles, they sure are fun.
