Was thrilled to find 4champ as a way to play my mod collection that I've been accumulating over time since when the Commodore Amiga platform was still new. Very thankful for the developer response explaining how to random-play the entire local on-device MOD collection without needing to add them all into a playlist: it's in the Radio feature! Go to the Radio tab, select the "Collection" channel and turn the Radio switch on. That's it!

Thanks for the review. If you haven't already figured it out, there is a way to do random play from local collection. Go to the Radio tab, select the "Collection" channel and turn the switch on. If you want to control the order of the modules played, there is no other way than adding them to a playlist one by one, but I assume that is not your plan with hundreds of modules anyway.

Great. Wish it would handle more formats like DSS, which appear in the app search but not playable. Also wish content at The Mod Archive was available through your app… their online player doesn’t work in iOS.

Happy to announce that DSS and a lot of other legacy Amiga music formats are now supported in version 3.5.

There are more mod players out there with more bells and whistles, but 4champ is by far the cleanest I've seen on an iOS device yet. Just like the old Amiga there's just something about it that makes it special.

I suggest that you join the TestFlight program and send a feedback report through there, this way it is possible to get more info on the scenario.
