Never worked

Download it, opened mp4 file, chose mp3 out, hit settings, BOOM! Repeated the process, setting opened. Tried to set 320k output, menus appear behind the dialog, can only click them if the dialog is moved on top the menu. Don't know what bizzaro system they used to create this, but it doesn't behave like professional software, where menus apper on top of the UI you are using. OSX has had APIs to correctly do this for decades, so I don't know why they are not using them.

AVOID.

UPDATE: Five years ago I left the above review. Now I am getting multiple requests from the developer to update my review. And now the app costs a substantial amount and I have found plenty of other solutions that work well and are not so expensive. After the last experience I will never touch this app again. My favorite solution currently is called Total Video Tools, which cost about the same as this, but I've used it extensively and have had zero problems. Easy to use and not annoying.

I have lowered my rating from two stars to one and if I get another request from the developer to update my review, and since I cannot go lower than one star, I will research other video converters and post the results here.

You had one chance, I can overlook minor glitches, but a horrible experince like this will never lose its stench. Stop annoying me.

This is the video converter ultimate, not DVD or Blu-ray ripper.

Error Converting Any Videos on MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.1

I just bought today the latest 15” MacBook Pro. Whenever I tried to convert any type of video files, there is always an error message saying: Failed to convert the following file(s). But this app works in the older version OS X 10.9.0 on my 2 year old 13” MacBook Air. So I don’t recommned to anybody who has updated their MacBook to OS X 10.9.1 version until the bug or error has been fixed. If the bug is fixed, then I can give a rating of 3 or 4 stars. I will give a five stars only when the conversion speed to 3D will be blazing fast, especially 3D split screen which is very good when it works.
