Accessible Solitaire Version 2.30 includes a change to how cards are shown visually when they are selected. Previously, when a card was selected, a colour border appears at the edges of the card. Players of the game requested that the background colour of the card also change when the card is selected. So in Version 2.30, the background card colour also changes, to be the same as the colour shown by dealt cards when they're in a set of selected cards. While this decreases the colour contrast between the selected card background and the suit and rank symbols shown on the selected card, the contrast still meets accessibility guidelines, and so it is hoped that overall this change makes the app more usable. Accessible Solitaire Version 2.29 improves the game-playing experience for players using both Voice Control and VoiceOver at the same time. As part of this, the names of the optional screen reader-related buttons shown in the app are now: "Game state", and "Available moves". Also, the setting to have the target card piles in the app be headings, is now off by default. If you would like to have these the target card piles headings, please visit the app Settings page and turn the related setting on. An earlier version of Accessible Solitaire introduced a feature where the target card piles were made headings, which resulted in faster navigation through the app when using the VoiceOver screen reader. This change meant that Voice Control of the app no longer worked, as Voice Control could not always recognise cards which are marked as headings. This new version of Accessible Solitaire, Version 2.28, adds a new setting to change whether the target card piles are headings or not. So if a player wants to play the game using Voice Control, this new setting can be used to have the target card piles not be headings. This means the game can now be played with either VoiceOver or Voice Control.

In Accessible Solitaire version 2.27, all the target card piles are headings. This means that when using heading navigation with the VoiceOver screen reader, it's more efficient to reach the target card piles. For example, if VoiceOver is at an Ace card in dealt card pile four, when heading navigation is enabled, a swipe-up gesture will move to the spades target card pile directly, bypassing all other dealt card piles. Also, the top card in the upturned card pile is now a heading. This means that when VoiceOver is at the Next Card button and heading navigation is enabled, a swipe-down gesture will move directly to the top upturned card, bypassing the other two lower cards in the upturned card pile.

Version 2.26 includes a new setting to have available moves automatically announced by VoiceOver following the successful move of a card. VoiceOver will make the available move announcement after announcing information relating to the move that's just been made. Please note that the available move announcement does not include moves of cards to empty dealt card piles, or moves of cards from the target card piles down to the dealt card piles.

Version 2.25 includes a new "Preview sound" button in the Settings page, to preview the sound to be played when a game is won.

Accessible Solitaire Version 2.24 now supports a brass fanfare as the celebratory sound played when a game is won.

Accessible Solitaire Version 2.22 uses the latest components for building apps, and this means the game can now run on more devices such as iPhone 16. For the moment, the game no longer supports changing screen orientation when the device is rotated. So when changing between portrait and landscape orientation, the game must now be restarted.

Version 2.21 includes new VoiceOver screen reader announcements when a move is attempted but not possible. For example, say a double tap is made on the 2 of Diamonds, and the card is selected. If a double tap is then made on a 4 of Clubs, no move can be made, and the 2 of diamonds is deselected. In earlier versions of the app, VoiceOver would not announce anything following the double tap on the 4 of Clubs, and so the player is not informed that a card has been deselected. In the new version of the app, VoiceOver will announce that no move has been made and the card has been deselected. Also, this version has a new "Close menu" item in the app menu, and the app menu's Help item links to a new location for the app Help content.

Version 2.19 improves the game experience for the Polish version of the app.

Version 2.18 improves the text announced by screen readers for the Polish version of the game.

Version 2.17 includes two new optional settings to improve the gaming experience for players who use screen readers. The new features are: "Dealt card pile hint", and "Announce face-down card details".

Version 2.16 includes updates to make the app behavior more consistent.

Version 2.15 improves the reliability of the game, and also introduces a Polish version.

Version 2.14 includes new diagnostic support to help investigate issues and to improve app quality.

Version 2.9 improves the experience when selecting and deselecting dealt cards when the VoiceOver screen reader is running.

Version 2.8 includes a setting to have card spins and mechanical sounds played when a game is won.

Version 2.7 includes improved accessible names for the target card piles to be announced by the VoiceOver screen reader.

Version 2.6 supports saving the state of the game across game sessions. So if you close the app when a game is in progress, you can continue playing that game when you next open the app.

Players can now set specific colours to represent the four different suit colours. So if you would prefer not to have two black suits and two red suits, you could set other colours. For example, use red, dark red, black and dark indigo for the four suits. The Accessible Solitaire app also now supports a long press gesture on all playing cards. If a player places their finger on a card and keeps their finger pressed on the card, after a set period, a big version of the card pops up. The period that the finger needs to be pressed can be changed in the Settings page, and also the long press gesture support can be turned off.

Version 1.29 provides more consistent VoiceOver announcements following actions taken in the game. For example, when selecting a card in a dealt card pile, VoiceOver immediately announces the selected state of the card.

Version 1.28 includes a setting to play a variety of new sounds, including when dealing cards and turning over the next available cards.
