Take the guesswork out of finding the right frames online with Ace & Tate Fitting Room service. It helps you pinpoint glasses that actually fit – by using innovative 3D face-mapping tech that gives a super-precise scan of your face.

How it works?

1) Scan your face in our app
Download our app, which will then ask you to log in or create an account – this is where we’ll save your scan. The app will walk you through your scan, which accurately captures a 3D image of your face. It takes 7-10 minutes and, once done, you’ll know exactly what frames suit you.

2) Find your perfect fit
After your scan, we’ll work out which frames fit best and put together a curated list in your Fitting Room, which you can always access by logging in on our website.
Meet your matches, try them on virtually – and have fun.

3) Shop anytime
Shop your glasses in your Fitting Room whenever you want, or browse our entire range online. Bonus: we’ll also drop you an email if we spot any frames from our new collections that are a fit.

Download our Ace & Tate Fitting Room app to start your scan.

How do we decide it’s a fit?

We dive into the detail, taking over 30,000 measurements to make sure you find your perfect fit.

- right size
Rather than seeing cookie-cutter face shapes – oval, round, heart, diamond – we get personal, with frames that are the well-proportioned to your face.

- sits well
How your glasses frame your eyes is key – which is why you’ll only see those that sit perfectly on your nose.

- comfortable fit
Comfort is everything, so rest easy that your frames won’t pinch your nose, bump into your cheeks, or slide down your face.

Try it out!

- The app is available in English, German, and Dutch.
- Our app is only available for iPhone X and users on iOS 14+ but we’re working on changing that – sign up for an alert and we’ll let you know when it’s ready for other systems. In the meantime, you can see how our frames fit different faces on our product pages.

NSIL79 ,

Only works with newer iPhones, and not even then…

Love Ace & Tate but it’s a bit inaccessible and cost discriminatory to the average customer to have an app that only works with the newest iPhone models. That aside - It says it works with newer models but I have the very latest SE and apparently that’s still not new enough. Bummer.

Developer Response ,

Hi NSIL79! The app does indeed require a specific iphone due to the facial recognition software which isn't offered on older models. We are truly sorry about this. We hope that we can soon offer our app on more phones but for now, you can always reach out to us via so we can still help you find the perfect pair!

Does not work

App does not work properly fails scan every time. Using iPhone 13 Mini, shouldn’t be a problem.

Developer Response ,

Hi da1ukn0!
Sorry to hear about the scan not working properly for you. Could you drop us an email on so we can actually look into the issue for you?

Cheers, Ace & Tate
