Good Calendar App, but it still needs time

I like this app. For only one the person behind it, I can't ask for more. But it still can't replace my current calendar by Readdle. I will come back after a few months. Some feedback for the developer:
- UI is confused and hard to use, especially in Settings. Why do we need 2 buttons for setting? Most users are noob, Readdle did a great job on simple UI.
- Apple watch is popular, make at least a simple complication. I uninstalled my old app and realized there is no way to view Date in my Apple Watch since Across doesn't have it. Lol
- Give us some day for Premium Trial.

Thank you for the review. We will organize it a little more and make improvements.
You can think of the settings button at the bottom left of the menu screen as a shortcut. Thank you.

Love the app but….

Ive been searching for a long, long time and finally found an app that has a layout that I can use. 5 stars!! But….. My excitement has been somewhat diminished because of this holiday calendar “sub app” that is embedded in this Across app. It’s these annoying descriptions of all of these holidays (many of them I’ve never heard of) that appear on top of the days column. I’ve researched it for hours trying to figure out how to get rid of these things. I’ve reached out to Apple and was told it’s built into IOS 18. I cancelled it on my Calendar and Google apps (as instructed) and I finally found a place on this app where I can “unsubscribe”to this embedded holiday calendar app. It’s soooo frustrating that it keeps re-subscribing me every time I close and re-open the app. Those holiday descriptors keep popping up on the week view of the calendar. I know I can’t deal with having to constantly unsubscribe to this holiday app every time I open it up so if anyone can offer any input (ie solutions) for this I would be soooo grateful. I’m hoping someone can offer something because I love this app. Definitely a 5 star if this can be fixed.

If you can't unsubscribe from the calendar, please hide the calendar. In the monthly view, swipe from the right end to the left to see the list. Uncheck the calendars you don't need. Thank you.

Good app but some suggestions

I like the overall look of the app and how nicely it syncs with other calendar apps I used previously. My favorite is the calendar view with timeline of a selected day. Adding or removing new events / tasks are easy, too. However setting a reoccurring task is a bit confusing as it only shows you the immediate ones. For example, I wanted to make a daily task but wasn’t sure if I set it right because it only appeared under today and only when I “complete” it can I see the same task for the next day. Also, I disabled the “completion as current time” option but in the day view and on the screen widget it still marks as current time when I accidentally check off any of the upcoming tasks. Unchecking them is a bit frustrating especially on the screen widget as it only shows upcoming tasks and any tasks marked as completed, even by accident, disappear from the list-meaning I would have to open the app to fix it. I also am not getting any notifications of the events or tasks though the notification settings are on on both my device and the app.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the review.

The biggest reason why recurring tasks are scheduled in advance and do not appear on the calendar is because two or more of the same tasks may appear at the next time you do not complete them. Thank you for your understanding.
