Loved them for many years!
AliExpress has been my go to for online shopping fo many years. Having a wide and cheaper selection of clothes, phone cases and cosplays. Many sites get their own selection of items from sites like this one and sell at a higher price. Buying directly from Ali Express saves you tons of money. There is a bit of a wait time to get you items. The fastest I had an item arrive was 2 weeks and the lashes 2 months. If you want the items in rush there is a hefty charge for oversea expedited shipping so plan ahead! If you know you need an item for an event or if the season are changing order it a minimum month prior to when you will need it. There are many more items than clothes and trinkets in which I shop for. The selection is endless. If you find a product satisfying don’t forget to leave reviews so that more people know whether to buy it or not. Something what makes or breaks a purchase for me is if there are no reviews or few reviews that are ok.
OVERALL: Don’t be afraid to shop from this app! Do some research into the fine details of what you are buying!
Lousy customer service
The products for the most part are fine but customer service is almost impossible. If your problem isn’t one of the questions listed you might as well give up on getting help. If you have a problem with an order and actually get a customer rep it’s an uphill battle. Example I placed an order, waited to receive it for a long time then when I checked tracking it said the shipment by the company was cancelled and the expiration date to receive the item was a week away. So I asked for a refund in dispute but the customer rep kept saying I needed to wait till the expiration date and negotiate with the seller before they would refund because I could still receive it. Ridiculous the expiration date is a week away, Why should I wait? If the shipment was canceled then it’s not going to arrive. I can not deal with stupidity, that conversation went round and round till my battery was sending warning messages of dying.
You can go to Joom or Banggood and get a lot of the same products and free shipping from Joom and a lot of free shipping from bang good and have a decent conversation. With Ali express if you type in more then 3 lines it won’t let you submit what your writing. And if you have a technical issue no one will email you so my recommendation is: until their customer service get people who are competent go elsewhere or hope your seller is competent because if there’s a problem it turns into a frustrating nightmare and headache.😡😡😡
Now adding surcharges!
AliExpress has been my addiction for a while now. In the past several weeks they’ve added some kind of surcharge to EVERY order. It’s not disclosed anywhere. The total from the seller no longer matches what is being charged to my credit card! AliExpress customer service has generally been great but fo this issue NOT helpful at all! They told me to go back to the seller. No! This is an Ali issue. It’s on every order.
I LOVE the app and LOVE shopping on Ali but this just isn’t right. Inform users of whatever new charge this is. Show it on my checkout receipt, do SOMETHING to make this right. I have things sitting in my cart that I want to order but charging me $4.27 extra without telling me why or for what isn’t right!
I love my AliExpress app. It’s been my addiction for the past year. The only negative with it is for some reason it has issues staying connected to the internet. It’s the only app that does that. It does get frustrating. That being said overall it’s great. I’ve had to contact customer service twice. Both times I was able to talk to a representative. The first time I contacted them was for an issue with the app. Not only did they resolve it but their customer service went over and above to make it right. When I’ve had a dispute with a seller the process is quick and easy. I gave the four stars instead of five because of the connectivity issues.
