Altimeter uses GPS for determining the altitude. To save battery power it accesses the GPS chip only when displaying on your iPhone or Apple Watch. No background activity. Your position is not tracked.
The accuracy of the altitude is depending of GPS reception. In closed rooms the signal might be poor.
Continued use of GPS can dramatically decrease battery life.
This update of Altimeter brings you two more coordinate systems: UTM and MGRS. On iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Works great but would like to see a complication for Apple Watch if that would be possible in the near future other than that everything works fine

Hi. Thx for your feedback and 5 star rating! Yes, a complication view I'd like, too. Unfortunately the current watchOS will update the complication each 30 minutes at most. Wouldn't this be confusing?
But I'll keep an eye on it and will add as soon as possible.
