beautiful, brilliant, and boring

Please don't shun me for my title. Let me explain my alliteration. I love puzzle games, especially casual ones like this. PuzzleQuest is one of my favorite games of all time, so how could I be so upset with this game? The puzzle depends on the elasticity of the frog and it makes me want to rip his legs off when it seems like he should be able to stretch and bend just a little further than he should. It's basically one big trial and error game, but because it's such an abstract way of display a puzzle, I found myself making the same mistake over and over which just frustrated me. When I finally beat a puzzle I would move onto the next with little to no satisfaction, only a small bit of relief. Some people will find this game gratifying and enjoyable, but I didn't.

The graphics are great, the concept is decent, and it has a nice presentation overall, but it's just not for everyone. I personally found it very annoying and I know I can't be the only one. Also, there's a bug where the ambient sound file skips for half a second which I kept noticing. This game needs a Lite so that people can try it out first. Suppor this programmer and pick it up if you really like unique puzzle games, just make sure you're in a clear and relaxed frame of mind.

I’m surprised and happy to see this back on iOS! It’s an over looked classic, it was striking and beautiful and still is...
