Best bicycle routing app I have found

I have been looking for a good bicycle navigation app that uses OpenStreetMap data because Google Maps and Apple Maps are frequently out of date in my city due to multi-year construction closures. I have tried many different OpenStreetMap-based navigation apps and this is the only one I have found that doesn’t send me down alleys or streets full of stop signs. Unfortunately it does have the common flaw of sometimes routing me across busy intersections without signals or crosswalks. I have yet to find an app smart enough to only cross busy streets at safe crossing points.

My only other complaint is it is not yet available on Android as of last time I recommended this to a friend.

It could be better — here’s why...

1) works better on iPad than iPhone—the street names don’t show offline on the iPhone
2) need to be able to change the route like you can on Google Maps by dragging the route line to your preferred street
3) app needs to be able to locate you offline AND show you were you are instead of trying to hunt down the little blue pulsating location dot that shows your current position
