What’s New

Version 2.4.2

Thanks for using TLS Inspector!

This update focuses on certificate validity ranges:
• Clarified that the "Not Before" and "Not After" times are in UTC
• Added a "Valid For" and "Will Expires In" cells, which shows the maximum age of the certificate, and how long until it expires
• Fixed a bug where certificates that were valid for only a few more hours were incorrectly marked as expired

Its That End User Again ,

An invaluable asset for Users.

This app helped me pin down (no pun intended) the shady certs that were behind the adware problem I have. This problem is so complicated that I’m still gathering data as proof to Apple because I guess they don’t get the whole certificate chain thing... or anything related to http.. or SSL. 😐

So thank you 🙏🏻 to the developers, you guys are doing important work of high quality. This is no crap-app with bad UI, one function, constant ad and analytic network traffic. No, this is a well executed tool, tactful and follows best practices.

My only suggestion is maybe a beginners FAQ or general info page about SSL, Header definitions, etc.

Should come with iOS

Great tool that everyone should have installed. Seriously, I don’t know why this isn’t baked into iOS. Everyone should be able to inspect certificates of the sites they visit, and this app adds the feature nicely. You don’t need to switch to the app, either. You can inspect certs of the sites you’re visiting from safari.

Awesome to begin with and awesome in continuing development

A very useful tool. Developer could have stopped working on it long ago but not only corrected and added things, but also applies updates when technology, methods, and practices change over time. Keep up the good work!
