We're excited to introduce Relay, an app for non-emergency incidents. No matter where you are in the United States, when you see something, you can say something– directly to a nearby police officer.
What's more, get status updates and even messages back from responding officers explaining what they found, so long as the responding agency is integrated with our platform.
Our crime map shows you incidents reported and safety broadcasts from police nearby, so you can be aware of safety concerns and crime trends in your area.
Finally, you can sign up for alerts directly from public safety officials about hazards in your area, like break-ins, thefts, missing persons, and more.
At Relay, we think about privacy a lot. In fact, it's in everything we do, and that includes our app. We only ask for permissions on your phone when needed, and we work hard to make clear what happens with the information you share.
Get a sense of civic pride, and be in the know on nearby activity. Together, we can all help make our local community safer.
** RELAY IS FOR NON-EMERGENCY REPORTING ONLY. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING AN EMERGENCY, DIAL 911 **
Thanks to everyone who’s provided feedback on Relay so far! We’re really feeling the momentum.
For our latest version, you’ll notice a few pretty nice enhancements. The first is the addition of Broadcasts– alerts for key activities like road closures, criminal activity, severe weather, and other nearby general hazards.

The best way to communicate with police
The Relay app is a seamless, easy way to communicate and report non-emergency incidents with police and have real-time feedback on reports. It’s much better than searching for and trying to call the non-emergency number and never knowing the outcome. Excited to see the future possibilities with the product.
Next generation app
Everyone should have this on their phone. Super easy to make a report to law enforcement without having to google non-emergency number. Love that it updates reports with their status!
I love this! Such a great way to be able to report non-emergency info, be informed of what’s happening around me and feel like it’s making a difference!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
