Choose a work in town to get resources and enhance your wooden shack to a stone farm! Plow your fields, sow with seeds and bake bread in your clay oven! To get even more food, you can find sheeps, pigs or cattles in town and keep them in fences to breed small ones.
When your farm is large enough, it's time to think about getting a newborn! Your children will help you on your tasks as they grow up! Don't forget to stock food for the winter coming every round or you will have to beg!
You can also choose specialities and improvement to take the advantage from the other farmers!

Another Great Game Ruined

If you've seen how Asmodee RUINED Pandemic, one of the most fun and playable games in the App Store, you wont be surprised that Agricola Revised plays WORSE than the previous version released years ago.

I'm not sure why this company sees "awful" as the next step after "great" but please stop ruining games! The UI crawls along, even on fast speed, dragging pieces triggers every space you drag it over so you constantly have to reset the board, browsing through cards takes forever as each.... one... slowly... slides... into... place... and then leaves a gap in the hand so you have to continuously slide back and forth to see the cards. As dated as the older interface is, and it certainly has its quirks, it is light years ahead of where this one is.

I contacted their Support with feedback and they assured me these changes are for my own good. Yay! My new rule is to not buy any new Asmodee game as it is bound to be produced in an "iterative" way, and thus not usable for at least a year. It should at least be free if we are beta testing it for them.

In the right direction, more work required

This release feels rushed. A few updates to it could make it really good. There are some important elements of the old app that still need to be imported, bugs that need to be fixed, draft mode needs to be introduced, preferably some deck expansions. So, work to be done.

But above all else, they must fix the bug that causes the app to forget which game is being played WHENEVER you minimize the app, tab into another app, overlay anything on top, or just try to multitask in general (on iPad). That bug is driving me insane as I have to go back and rejoin the right game I’m playing a million times throughout a game night, like when I get a text message or just want to look up something on the internet.

So. Work remains to be done. But moving in the right direction!

Amazing game, terrible ui

Quite unintuitive and difficult to navigate. It’s very hard to figure out how to do the things you need to do and the cutesy graphics can make it difficult to follow exactly what’s happening. Once you get used to it, it's workable, but in no way is this a productive design.

It has some bugs, multiple times I had to undo what I was doing or reload the game entirely. It also seems to disconnect you instantly when the game goes to the background, like terraforming mars. That is the worst.

It can be fixed, but it needs some serious revisions. Also, drafting is key to this game competently but is missing.
