Endel: Focus, Relax, Sleep 4+

Let me start by saying that I'm someone that suffers from some fairly serious mental diagnoses including major depression, Borderline Personality, and ADHD, with that being said. This app has been an absolute god send to my life. Wiggly Wisdom allows me to ponder my Self whilst walking the dog (or even Clarity Trip, I love that one too!), Focus and Deeper Focus for my app development work, and I absolutely LOVE AI Lullaby, I use it every night to fall asleep and stay asleep. The quality and care put into this app, along with using advanced AI work in the background is phenominal, and it shows in the product. The soundscapes are tasteful and complement the environment you're in, without distracting you, but giving you a good auditory 'aura' to listen to.
I 100% recommend this app, it's developed by a stunning group of people that absolutely deserve your support. If you are financially able, purchase this app.

I cannot begin to say how much this app has enriched my life! I have it playing near constantly. In my car, on my phone, on my laptop at work. I also sleep literally every night to one of the "Sleep" sequences. This app becomes more interesting and immersive the longer you listen and I'm thrilled to have found it a few years back. It's worth its weight in gold and I've shared it to many freinds who've fallen in love with it also. Besides personal use, It's great for background sonds when you are anxious, or when you are having company and want to have something playing but don't want the distraction of lyrics or someone not liking a certain genre of music. My only frustration is the lack of app updates and development for IOS, I have to use my iphone to play through the speakers on my macbook at work since the desktop version is so outdated and apparently not being revived. But customers LOVE it and notice when it's not playing. Thank you Endel, keep it coming! <3

Due to the technical limitations of macOS, we have suspended work on Endel updates for this platform for the time being. So the latest additions to our iOS library are still unavailable in the current Mac version. We are now working on a new version for Mac. We hope to introduce it this spring.

I wrote a two-star review of an earlier version of this app that I would like to update, but apparently I can't. I was frustrated then about an audio bug that wrecked the vibe. They assured me in a response to that review that they were already working on fixing it, and it's true. That bug is gone and it's a smooth experience now. As for why I like it: Endel has been instrumental for me in overcoming writer's block, and getting back on track after the holidays. And after a lot of rough times in 2020. I use Endel for at least eight hours per day. It has even beaten out Apple Music for control of my speakers when I'm working. This is a groundbreaking moment in history when computational music has become practical, just like a lot of nerds have been imagining for decades. I plan to use Endel for years, and I'm excited to see where the developers take it. PS: The Grimes thing was cool, and I'd love to hear more Toro y Moi in the app. Thanks for a brilliant invention.

thanks a lot for updating your review! We are happy too that that issue is solved and that Endel helped you overcome your writer's block and keep helping in your work. Now, we're reworking Grimes mode, adding new sounds and vocals, and it's going to be live again on iOS, Android, and Alexa apps in a few months. Regarding Toro y Moi, it was an advertising project for the smartwater brand, so we cannot include these soundscapes in the app. But we have some other exciting collaborations on our agenda for this year. We hope you will like it.

We are happy that you see Endel as a tool that can help you in your work. And of course, we are very sorry that the app doesn't work as it should, in your case. We are already on it, and we will solve the problems that cause switching the audio output after we move to the new audio engine. It will happen by the next update.
