Surprisingly good

TLDR: way better / sexier / more fun pomodoro that syncs with calendar, labels well and does other cool stuff.

Its hard to fully grok how cool this is from the limited screen shots but the paid version (which I will likely pony up the $40/year on) syncs with calendar (multiple google calendars via mac Calendar) and actually outputs back to a calendar of your choosing/making so you can compare your plans with your reality...

the visual bar at the top is something my eyes are learning to watch and remind me to stay focused, while also providing some information and occasinoal dopamine hits that depend on your session engagement...

Glad to hear you like it! We'll try to find a way to make it more obvious from the screenshots how cool the app is. :)

Very cool app, wish for a bit more functionality though

This is one of the best time tracker I've ever found, I really like this visual timeline approach, really well done!

Few things I'd wish developers to add though:
1 - Ability to set our own time limits for tracker (now it counts intervals as 25mins, would be nice to have options to change it to any number I want)
2 - Please remove Start/Stop session on the right click on the menubar icon; I've almost lost good chunk of progress like that. Or at least add like 3sec countdown so I could quickly click again if i don't want to end the session now and clicked it accidentally.
3 - Add more standart "pomodoro-style" functionality, like the amount of intervals you'd like to hit per day, or per week.
4 - Would be nice to see an option to fully expand the timeline on mouse hover over the icon, becasue right now it initially only shows very thin progress bar and not the timeline where you can see the time, please add this option.

In any case, that's a really cool app, and I'm glad I've found it!

Break Timer issue

I am using the free version and find it useful except when it is time for a break. I get a message that tells me to hit the space bar or the break will end. Hitting the space bar gives a repeat of the same message 2 seconds later, and then I think the break ends. Maybe there is no visual break timer and it is working as intended. Stll giving this 5 stars as it is the most useful free version of an app I have seen.

Developer Response ,

Hi there! Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with breaks. It's likely that you're running a program in the background that generates constant activity, which makes Lifeline think you're at your screen, and hence it ends the break.

We've also heard from someone else that their magic trackpad causes this to happen. We'll look into this further to see if we can come up with a solution.

And thanks for the 5-stars, we appreciate it!
