Lifeline's timeboxed sessions help you build a work rhythm for optimal productivity and focus throughout the day. Whether you wrap up sessions after 25 or 90 minutes, Lifeline's automatic break time calculation ensures you take enough rest, too.
The visual progress bar at the top of your screen—your Lifeline—gives real-time feedback on how you're spending time. Grasp your day's rhythm at a glance and see tomato rewards pop out for every 25-minute cycle you complete.
You can also pull down your Lifeline from the top of your screen. There, the history view visualizes the rhythm of your weeks, months, and, eventually, your life.

Session labels. Add text labels and emojis to your sessions. This feature allows you to easily track your time on tasks, projects, and life areas.
Custom session lengths. Want to do a 50, 90, or 10-minute session instead of a 25-minute one? With Pro, you can! Just choose a custom session length from the taskbar dropdown menu or adjust the duration from the label window at the start of a session.
Meeting tracking. Time your meetings and separate their data from other sessions. You get the same progress bar at the top of your screen as during a regular Lifeline session, so you instantly see if you're running over.
Calendar integration. Connect Lifeline to your calendar app. You can plan sessions there, have meetings synced into your Lifeline, and export actual Lifeline session data back to your calendar.
Daily and weekly review panel. All your data comes together in this panel. View by day, week, month, year, or lifetime. You can also access a log of all your activities and adjust, delete, or add events.

We’ve overhauled Lifeline’s data infrastructure so that we have more accurate product analytics in the future. This change allows us to focus our work on features that matter most to you and do a better job introducing functionalities you’re not yet aware of.
Note that we only collect product-usage data, like whether you used a specific feature. All sensitive information is stored locally and never leaves your computer, such as the session labels you input and the calendar events you sync with Lifeline.
We’ve also made minor UX improvements on some features. For example, you can now cancel a session you started by accident. Of course, we’ve also fixed a few minor bugs.

Very cool app, wish for a bit more functionality though
This is one of the best time tracker I've ever found, I really like this visual timeline approach, really well done!
Few things I'd wish developers to add though:
1 - Ability to set our own time limits for tracker (now it counts intervals as 25mins, would be nice to have options to change it to any number I want)
2 - Please remove Start/Stop session on the right click on the menubar icon; I've almost lost good chunk of progress like that. Or at least add like 3sec countdown so I could quickly click again if i don't want to end the session now and clicked it accidentally.
3 - Add more standart "pomodoro-style" functionality, like the amount of intervals you'd like to hit per day, or per week.
4 - Would be nice to see an option to fully expand the timeline on mouse hover over the icon, becasue right now it initially only shows very thin progress bar and not the timeline where you can see the time, please add this option.
In any case, that's a really cool app, and I'm glad I've found it!

Addition on 7th of December 2020: we've solved point two in version 1.3. You can now reverse the mouse-click functionality in Preferences under Basics.
Clever, and just enough propting toward productivity
I've tried other Pomodoro timers, but have settled on this one. It's easy to get the hang of, subtle enought to stay out of the way of the work, and structured enough so I can stay focused. I very much like that the free version is very functional. I'm in the process of checking out the paid version, and am glad to see that development is continuing!

I just started using this about a week ago. Still getting used to it, but I like the ability to connect with your calendar (paid version). It helps compare what you planned to do vs. your actual. I also appreciate the ability to modify the preferences.
My only ask is to develop a mobile version. Not all my work is tied to the computer. (in fact, I will purposely step away to focus on a specific activity at times). A mobile app would help with this. Otherwise it's great!
