Misterine App modernizes the service manual. Traditional print/online service manuals are abstractions of a process performed on a real-world object and with real-world tools into textual language and 2D diagrams. Misterine App changes the game, by placing information relevant to task performance into the actual work context in the real world. Misterine App enhances industrial workspaces using augmented reality (AR). The result is AR Manuals.
Misterine App accomplishes this by combining cutting-edge technologies from areas like Augmented Reality, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, & Deep-learning.
AR Manual Features:
• Tasks can be shown directly on the object, showing precisely how to do the task on the object itself. Augmentations may show the tools required performing the action.
• Step by step guidance of tasks.
• Labeling of parts in place on the real-world object.
• AR highlighting of parts.
• Augmentations demonstrate how to perform hard or complicated actions. For instance, the removal of part that requires an exact path to avoid other objects.
• Augmentations highlight objects hidden behind other objects to make tasks clearer and to ease manipulation. For instance, bolts or screws are often hidden from view by other parts making them difficult to spot and to remove/insert.
• Compile performance metrics
• Record data, e.g. measurements, during the process without requiring dealing with external paper trails which distract from the task.
• Replaces blow-up diagrams with true 3D visualizations and with labels pointing out real-world 3D objects and positions.
• Automatic progression in the process by recognition of task completion.
• Text and graphics of the manual directly accessible in the actual work context.
