Description

Hijack Your Feed replaces ads on your social feed with tasks from your todo list.

Hijack Your Feed generates one-of-a-kind posts for each task, designed to be just as distracting as “real” advertisements. So that the chores you've been putting off might finally catch your eye.

Hijacked posts are interactive. So you can do things like mark tasks as done, or go to embedded links. Straight from the comfort of your timeline.

Plus, It works with your Reminders App, so you don't have to manage a separate list.

Reclaim your attention. Hijack Your Feed.

Pretty creative idea

I think this is a great idea, really creative approach to the problems of scrolling endless feeds. There are only a few odd things about this, like how a task due "tomorrow" is considered midnight, therefore it will say something I do for work is due "in 5 hours" because it is night time rather than what people normally percieve as "next day". And I think possibly some of the emoji are a little too vague, like the word in possibly causing a golf emoji to show, probably because it's referring to a hole-in-one, usually the creative interpretation of the words is very funny and attention grabbing, though I think generic words like "in" are too broad.

I use Things 3 a lot, it would be awesome if that was somehow possible to integrate but I don't know how difficult that is. I may not use it all the time because of that but I can still see how this is one of the smartest extensions I've seen in a long time.

No evidence it does anything

I honestly couldn't find any evidence that this software was doing anything at all. Under no circumstances was I seeing any "Hijacked" posts.
