This app is buggy and won’t allow me to delete my account

The app tried to describe my personality based on my photo, but it was way, way off. I hit the “not accurate” button and it still proceeded to try to match me based on what it thought was my personality.

I didn’t find anyone who had a bio or any information other than a head shot, which is not enough to determine what someone looks like. And of course the matches were useless because they were based on personality traits I don’t have. But you can’t remove anyone from your list of matches so you have to keep looking at the same people you’re not interested in.

So I go to delete my account and every single time it give me an error message and tells me to log out and back in, which didn’t help. Then a link pops up to send me an email, but this results in another error message because I’m already logged in. I’m confounded by the positive reviews because the app is garbage from a technical standpoint and doesn’t even work as intended.

Additionally, self-reflection and perceptions vary greatly among individuals.

Even if you felt the personality assessment wasn't accurate for you, the app still offers conventional dating features. Like many dating apps, we match based on likes and preferences. We offer unlimited unlikes and seeing who likes you feature for free. You can engage in speed dating games, and even have a chance to find someone resembling your favorite celebrity.

Dissatisfied

The app heavily pushes the user to join the “premium” mode. Otherwise you can’t adjust most of your preferences other than height and sex. There doesn’t seem to be too many people using this app because despite my location I was shown women from other countries and states that are very far from mine. The big kicker and what finally forced me to delete it is that no one was responding. These “dating” apps seem to be more like female ego boosting apps than anything else. I had high hopes for this one. That it might connect me with women who were not only physically attracted to me but also a good match in general. In the end I was disappointed and dissatisfied with Scimatch. Personally I’d rather be alone than feed into the narcissistic female culture of today.
