Description

A microdosing companion and tracking app, made for better days.

A user-friendly microdosing tracker. Houston is a wellness companion to the practice of microdosing (taking small doses) of supplements like functional mushrooms (like Lion’s Mane and cordyceps), cannabis and B vitamins, to improve mental well-being, creativity, focus, energy, and more. Where allowed and available, microdosing is also practiced with psychedelics.

Houston is built with intention in mind, and crowdsources information with an emphasis sharing and community. We look forward to collaborating with researchers and universities to better understand health and well-being through novel practices.

It was created by people with a passion for human well-being, with backgrounds from places like Field Trip Health, Headspace and Oxford University.

Intentional Microdosing

Such a brilliant and aesthetically pleasing tool to log all things microdosing. Paired with playlists and articles it really helps set the dose day vibe. The check in feature reminds me of ‘waking up’s’ (meditation app) moments feature, those little reminders help you get more present and reconnect with your intention during a busy day.

Lacking a Key Feature: Customization

I need to be able to go back to enter days I forgot to open this app. I remembered to put in my info today. But I forgot the previous 2 days. I want the calendar to reflect accurately, but there’s no way to input past days.

There is also no option to create your own schedule. I’m not “good without a plan” but I also do not use the 3 plans you give options for. Make a “create your own plan”.

If your looking for a free flowing app where you can effortlessly track and be reminded once a day to open the app, Daylio is the way to go. Highly customizable, easy to go back to enter forgotten days, as detailed or minimal as you want. Houston is great in concept, but it leaves much to be desired.

You can log past doses!

In order to log past doses just click on the plus sign, then dosage button and scroll ALL the way to the bottom and you’ll see it. Great app! I’m digging it!
