• Look up words
• Stroke order
• Pronunciation
• Word segmentation
• Sentence translation

Now all that is integrated in Safari. Supercharge your mobile browser with an optimized dictionary and the best machine translation.

Great extension!

Does exactly what it says it does. It’s like a mobile version of the zhongwen browser extension, with some extra features. Definitely recommend!

Does not work offline

I’m glad this extension exists. iOS doesn’t have many good options for translating individual words while reading a Chinese article. (I’m missing Hanping Popup after switching from Android).

Unfortunately, this doesn’t work offline. When you try to look up a word, it will spin forever loading the word. This ruins a major use case for me: loading an article when getting on the subway, and then reading it as I ride (underground, so no cell connection) to work.

I don’t think there’s a technical reason why it can’t work offline. CC-CEDICT is free and only a few megabytes, so the extension could embed that dictionary. I’m hoping the developers add offline support!
