Easy to use
If you’re concerned about your private data being on the internet available to be viewed or purchased, especially for marketing or more nefarious uses, this app will help with that. It’s simple to set up, and then use to scan across a broad range of data broker sites that display and sell your personal info. Once the scan is complete, it will show you the names of matches found with your info. You can then use the information and research yourself how to opt out and remove your listing from their websites. Privately Hawk then offers a service where they take care of this for you, removing your information from all services and monitoring ongoing to make sure it’s not later added again, which is common after a period of time. The app also explains more on why removing this personal data is important.

Get your control back
This app was easy to install and use, it’s very user friendly. It scans, and lists all the websites, then you decide what you want to do, make your choices and let PrivacyHawk do all the hard work for you.
After the scan showed me a list a mile long of businesses that were exploiting my personal data, I was stunned, I got to decide what to do about it for each website, that felt good. I feel a lot better knowing I’ve taken back control of my data privacy and you will too.

I am a huge fan of this app. Not only does it delete you from data brokers, but it also has a nifty digital footprint scan where it identifies all the companies from your inbox, for me there were like 150, and I deleted my data from a whole bunch of companies that no longer need my data. And I have to tell you, it’s very satisfying deleting your private data from all these places. Makes me feel much less exposed. Plus, the app is so easy to use that tapping the delete button is kind of fun!
