Remento is for self-reflection, in-person conversations, and soliciting stories and family history from everyone in your life.
The Remento App is designed to inspire and record conversations that remind us we each have stories worth sharing.
The app includes a selection of expert-designed templates that support different kinds of conversations, ranging from quick and lighthearted reflections to in-depth storytelling. Each themed template is completely customizable and features question and photo prompts to spark recollections, while capturing every word. Videos from these sessions can be enjoyed in a bespoke playback experience within the app or shared with others - no editing required.
Explore what life was like for your grandparents when they were your age, discover stories that made your parents into who they are today, or just deepen your relationships through curiosity and attention. Remento makes it easier than ever to remember and record the moments that shape us.
Your content is stored privately on your device. Download it or share it anytime. No ads and no monetization of your data. The app is currently in Beta and free to use. Future features will include the ability to invite others to contribute to projects, enhanced editing capabilities, cloud storage access, multiple-device support, and more.

At Remento we are on a mission to reimagine the way we document and carry forward the experiences of ourselves and our loved ones. Just what I’ve been looking for
This is such an amazing idea and app. In a world of endless content, it can be hard to focus on the content that matters most. Remento has honed in on creating just that. The easy user experience paired with conversations and content that matter is a truly winning combination.
On a personal note, I am watching my parents progress through their 60s and experience their own parents’ deaths. I can’t help but think about when that day comes for me and how I will miss the sage advice and stories that my parents have shared with me for the last 30 years. I spent a few hours recording videos of my parents with Remento and I have never felt so refreshed, inspired and grateful for an app or an idea. I can’t wait to keep capturing these memories and investing in this family heirloom which I know will be a gift for generations to come.
Forget Storyworth - this app is SO much better
Whenever my parents shared stories about their past, I alway wished I had recorded them to preserve the memory of the story itself, but also how they expressed themselves while telling it. Other solutions, like Storyworth, were tedious and felt transactional. I tried Remento and it made the process feel human. I love the thoughtfully curated questions, which revealed stories from my parents’ past that I would have never known otherwise. I also love the photo prompts, because so many of their stories are sparked by looking through old photo albums. The user experience of this app is so slick and it will undoubtedly be a repository for conversations that I will want to save and refer back to for years to come. Love this app and grateful for the conversations that it will help

Awesome app to create content that matters
If you are like me, you have 10,000 photos on your phone (most of which you will never look at again). This app lets you create meaningful videos and photo stories with family and capture some of the most important conversations in your life: those with people you really care about.
When my grandfather passed away, we all kicked ourselves that we had never sat down and filmed a candid discussion on his life. Make that time for your family and this app truly makes it easy.
