Ratings and Reviews
Downloader option missing
Sadly I purchased this from the apple store… (DON’T) initially the app was miissing the downloader option (to download video’s from various sites etc online). Eventually the apple store had an update and suddenly the download option was included… (obviously high priorty for me). I mean I use it for all of the other beneifts too… but with the most recent update the download option is no longer available… Now I can’t download anything and am left hoping that someone somewhere within the company of wondershare will discover this most unfortunately OVERLOOKED update…. and updates it again! FOR GOD SAKES! You can’t go to the developers website because they don’t have any way of recognizing the fact that you purchased the product via the apple store (TOTAL INCOMPETENCE - WOW!). Overall this a great app and worth the money BUT!!!! If I had to do it over again… I would purchase it from the developers website ONLY… AND NEVER AGAIN USE THE APPLE STORE!!!!

Versatile but not perfect
It works well to do batch conversions of home videos. I am glad I got it but there are some things that don't work.
I am converting my home video DVDs to another file format. I wanted to use MOV so I could play them on both the Apple TVs and the Plex Media Server. It turned out that the MOVs produced by UniConverter won't play on Plex. The ones I converted with QuickTime do play. What's odd is that when I open the properties of the MOV file from each side by side from QT and UC they show to be identical. I tried this over and over and gave up and went to MP4 HEVC, which works. There's just something going on with UC that is odd.
After that hurdle, it's working fine for my needs.

MAJOR DOWNGRADE!!! PROBLEM FIXED!!!
Wish I had know they were removing downloading capabilities before "upgrading!" There is NO DOWNLOAD button any longer on the app!!! This was the main thing I used it for. Trying to speak with someone at their website is a major hurdle! Wish I hadn't "upgraded"!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED WONDERSHARE!!!
ADDENDUM: After jumping through some hoops to finally chat with a representative, UniConverter sent me alink that allowed me to update to newer version that included the download button. This is once again one of my favorite apps! THANKS UNICONVERTER!
