This app has come a long way

1.3.2 review

The app seems to be working now, although I haven't thoroughly tested it out. That's because I've gotten used to using the 'fade sleep dream' app while waiting for the kinks to be worked out of dozzzer. Dozzzer has come a long way since when I first found it, and the developer has been very courteous and responsive to my emails.

Now, if either of these apps add support for fading streaming audio from another app, then that will be the app that wins the battle.

Last review: As of the current version of the app, I cannot even launch the app anymore without it crashing. I've found an alternative app called 'fade sleep dream' for a $1.99. Hope dozzzer gets fixed.

Old review:

I think this app will eventually be great, but a few issues need to be addressed first for that to happen. Foremost, the volume only begins to decrease near the very end of the timer. It would make a lot more sense in my opinion for the volume to braising decrease during the entire duration of the timer. Because of this, I really think the app is currently only a 2 star app, but I don't want to hurt the developer by rating the app that low initially because I believe the developer will eventually address this issue as well as some others. For now, I give the app 3 stars, and I know it will eventually be worthy of 5 stars easily.

I've always wanted an app like this, so thanks for bringing it to fruition!

Good, but needs work.

It does what is says it'll do. The volume does decrease over time. I find this helpful, because when I fall asleep to my music, I don't usually put a timer on it because sometimes I don't fall asleep fast enough, and my music will just cut off. So I leave it on, and I find myself waking up abruptly in the middle of the night to turn it off. So this app helps me there. One thing that could be fixed is the sound could begin tapering off earlier, right now it only does it closer to the end of the time. Also, it would be nice to have a longer timer to put it on; it only goes up to 90 minutes.
Lastly there's this annoying glitch where if you have headphones in, the little volume adjustment screen pops up and never fades away as it should. It just stays there unless you take out the headphones. You can see it there even of you exit the app and enter the other one. This needs I be fixed pronto.
All in all, this is a good app and I'm looking forward to future updates.

I bought this years ago and now ads???

UPDATE: the latest version recognized my prior payment for this app and allowed me to hide the ads. Thanks to the developer for fixing this quickly. Great job.
------------
I paid for this years ago and have used it since. Suddenly I must look at ads? I understand for new free downloaders but for those of us who supported with cash it seems not fair at all! I see there is a 'restore purchases' that seems to do nothing. I hope it is intended for we who already paid a long time ago. If you're going to do this you need to freeze the version we paid for and start fresh for the new customers. Not happy at all unless I'm missing something. Won't buy from this dev again if this stands.
