Change plan option needs an update

I have 150 new freedom package (no contract), I decided to change my plan to 100 freedom packaged 12-month contract (downgrade), but the problem is the “change plan” option does not include the package that I want, I called an etisalat agent he told me to clear the search filter or use the website on laptop, but also the 100 freedom package didn’t appear on my screen, only “New Freedom” packages appeared. I think the app and the website needs an update to give an option for the Freedom packages.
Although the app is good but a little bit confusing.

Spam fest

Get the marketing department’s grubby hands off the app, hire some experts and focus on user needs. This app does work okay if you can manage to navigate the sea of pop ups in order to view your bill/balance but the overall experience is incredibly spammy, tacky, borderline deceitful and more difficult to use that it was in the past.

The app seems to have been crammed full of annoying promos in the last couple of months. The most annoying one is on the Home Screen, where you click X to close the promo but the thing opens up again as soon as you scroll back up, which attempts to trick you into tapping a CTA when you try to close it again.

If you think this description is convoluted then imagine how bad the actual app is.

Updating Emirates ID is a painful process

If you try to change the expiry date of your Emirates ID manually, the Emirates App does not allow you to activate the keyboard to backspace and erase numbers. The App placed a date in that field so it would be logical to allow backspacing to correct the date.

Instead, you need to search for a blue highlighted date prompt in the lower left hand of the screen. It is barely visible. This is a clear App design error.

A client should be able to back space to correct errors.
