I had the same experience as the previous reviewer. I gave them full information about the item I wanted delivered. I then have to chase and chase and chase to be finally told, an hour after the latest time they said they would pick it up, that they weren’t going to. ‘It’s too big.’ They KNEW its exact dimensions. Their response? First: ‘You should have called to confirm.’ The app specifically says there is no need. Then: ‘You should have checked the policy documents.’ Which I have done and they say nothing about it their not picking up larger items. So both the sender and I have been left sitting in our apartments for 4 hours this morning for nothing. And I have also had the pleasure of dealing with a bunch of the worst customer service people I’ve talked to in a long time. Don’t touch it!
I love Fetchr! Easy, fast and convenient
I had previous transactions with Fetchr and I can only provide positive feedback on the app and the team. The app is easy to use, they won’t need to keep on calling you for the location and your time availability as you can set these on the app. You can schedule the delivery date and time and also track your order. You will also receive an sms on the status and location of the driver even. Unlike other delivery companies, I didn’t had any problems with logistics whatsoever considering that my location if far from the city of Abu dhabi - Yas Island! I will keep on using Fetchr and recommend the service to family and friends. Thanks Fetchr and keep up the good work! - Shirley L.
No feedback option, no tracking updates
The app doesn't have feedback option to leave feedback about the service and the service is not as expected. Since I cannot direct service feedback to the company I'll have to leave it here. I have requested a pick up service. The app doesn't show any status whether the package has been picked up or not. The original pick up was delayed and there was no update on the app about this delay. Then the packaged was picked up and the status still shows scheduled. It has been now 2 days late for delivery and there is nothing in the app that tells you that the delivery is also delayed nor a estimated date of delivery is available. Summary: both the app and the delivery service need massive improvement.
