“Auxy is my favorite way to get what is going on in my brain into a musical format. It is simple on the surface but with tremendous depth if you need it.” - RAC

“The automation is terrific. I am doing things with Auxy I would not easily do in my studio. The design is insanely smart and forward-thinking.” - Madeon

“It is wild bro, you gotta get this!” - Majid Jordan

Build melodies and drum loops by drawing notes. Arrange your loops with scenes to explore ideas or make full-length tracks.

Browse thousands of high quality synth patches, sampled instruments and one-shot samples. You can import samples to the drum machine and build your own melodic instruments.

Add studio-grade effects like reverb, delay, distortion and chorus. Fine-tune sounds to find the perfect mix. Create modulation and transitions with powerful automation.

Upload your tracks to SoundCloud or export them as audio or video files. Quickly share links to your projects if you want to collaborate with other producers.

You can export projects to Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio or Studio One, which makes Auxy a great sketchpad for producers on the go. You can also bounce projects as separate audio and MIDI files, which can be imported into any popular music-making app.

Auxy supports Ableton Link, which lets you jam in sync with other apps and devices connected to the same Wi-Fi.

Auxy is free to download and evaluate with a limited set of sounds. You also get a 7-day free trial to evaluate all the sounds and features before you start a subscription.

Auxy is built by a small and independent team in Sweden. Our mission is to put a studio in everyone's pocket and push music forward as an artform.

What’s New

Version 6.6.8

We have fixed some text glitches that came as a result of making the app ready for more languages. Thanks for reporting these! In addition, you can now add up to 32 instruments in each project. Just keep in mind that playing a lot of instruments at the same time can cause performance issues.

Editors’ Notes

A refreshingly simple take on music-making, Auxy lets you create beats simply by placing colorful squares on grids. With the intuitive modular interface, it’s easy to arrange blocks, tinker with their composition, and create complicated beats. Once you’ve found the sound you’re looking for, you can adjust the tempo, key, and effects on the fly—then record it and export to MIDI.

A game changer in mobile DAWs

I have used auxy since around 2014, and have gotten to know the ins and outs of this app in that time. Everything about it, from the UI to the sound design itself, is incredible. Not only is the app great though, but the community as well. Many of my best friends online are from the auxy collective discord, and it’s truly amazing to see such a concentrated amount of talent in one area. As well as this, the auxy staff repost songs they like, which is a really great way to keep in touch with the community and reward experimentation. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another mobile daw where the community put together a full on awards ceremony for people who make music with the app. As well as this, working with groups or collabs is incredibly easy and efficient too. Being a member of many groups and collabs in both auxy and FL Studio, i can safely say that Auxy is the better of the two when it comes to collaborations. This is mainly due to the fact that there are no VSTs in auxy, but it’s also just because the projects can be shared through a link as opposed to a file. Incredible work lenberg, and I can’t wait to see what you do next with the app!

Still my staple MusicProduction app

New upgrade they just did was with proper but it be nice to have some more affects just something to help make the sounds that I have do a little more little more uumphfff… and I mean as far as drums go I think we can go to the drums on this app to to last is probably a long long while I’m thinking more bass like stand up bass or maybe even up some more Chyna dubstep bass music type of bass in or something with a little more uumphfff… I hit you guys up before saying that you know more organic sounds would be great more organic sounds and you guys told me that you guys could but pretty much every other music app even though they fail in comparison as far as the actual production and goes a lot of the other music apps aren’t as user-friendly but they have a lot of better sounds a lot more organic sounds I mean I guess I can transfer there sounds onto your app but I just don’t see why unless it’s a financial issue which I get why you can’t get more organic sounds but other than that I mean like I said I’m not gonna even sayThe names of the other apps that I have but you guys are way more user-friendly it’s not just because I’ve been using you guys for years it’s just because you guys just are easier to maneuver around throughout the app I don’t know man just wanted to keep on rocking in the free world
