Backup Contact Pictures can export and import all of your contact pictures to and from a folder. When exporting, the contact's name and identifier is used for the image file's name. When importing, the image will be assigned to all contacts whose name does match the contact id in an image's name or the filename if there is no such id. The app can also bulk delete all contact pictures.
For the export, the JPEG format is used. The import function supports all common bitmap formats. An activity log shows you the results of each bulk operation.

- File names of extracted contact images now also contain the identifier of a contact to facilitate later reassignment. With the id in the filename, two different John Doe's are now recognized as different contacts. Note, however, that contact IDs may be device-dependent.
- Finding matching contacts for image files without a contact id in the filename has also been improved and leads to fewer incorrect assignments.
- Added support for macOS Mojave
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
