Did you know that you can increase the battery life of your Macbook simply by reducing the brightness of the screen?
In certain conditions, where you might not have immediate access to a power adapter, getting that extra time before the battery is completely drained could be crucial when you need to finish that important presentation you are working on.
The theory is simple, but will you remember to do it in practice when that important deadline is what's on your mind and not power saving tricks?
This is where Bedimmer comes in and gives you a simple way to automatically reduce the screen brightness when your battery is running low.
Running in the background and conveniently available in your menu bar to fine tune it's settings, Bedimmer is the perfect app to squeeze those extra drops of juice out of your battery.
- Changed background color on the Mac App Store screenshots. White text on a yellow(ish) background…really? What were you thinking?! *hides in shame from graphics designers*
- Now shows immediate feedback when dragging the slider in the menu

Does what its supposed to do.
This app does not lower your brightness beyond normal settings like some shader apps. It simply lowers your brightness based on how much battery life you have left. You can change the settings too.
