Nice UI, the worst UX

I’m at the event, it lasts a few days. And for some reason I can invite people to events and weekdays in the past. Today is Wednesday, and the app shows me free time slots for Tuesday by default, and I can book them.

I don’t have a time machine! I’ve sent a lot of invites for past time, and had to cancel all of them and resend for a new day. How come you didn’t see this flaw in the app? Have you ever used it by yourself at least once?

And if the person cancels a meeting with you and writes a message, you can’t reply to them! You have to set a new meeting, and then write what you want.

This is super frustrating.

Great Idea; Poor Execution

The idea of an app for conference networking is great. However, the execution and reliability of this app is sub-par. Constantly takes forever to load, no ability to choose your own meeting location, and the iPad app is PHONE sized. Even the desktop site is super slow. I wish there was an ability to “link” with people to track who your colleagues have networked with. We are keeping an Excel sheet, but it’d be better to be able to track this in the app to avoid multiple people from the same company reaching out to us or to combine meetings. Also wish I could take notes in the app. Lots of room for improvement.

I wish all conferences used this app

The app has some shortcomings (I wish it could import the conference agenda as opposed to just having a URL pointing to it), but I love the idea. It facilitates networking a lot less daunting by allowing you to learn a little bit about the person you are about to talk to before actually meeting them and to find a time that is convenient for both parties rather than catching the other party by surprise at an inconvenient time. I would recommend this app to all conferences if I could!
