Almost fun

I -almost- like this game. The premise is fun, the graphics are outstanding, and it's solid and well put together.

But it's just too slow. There's long pauses at the end of the level, long pauses when you die, it takes a while to reload the level, etc. Plus, if you screw up, you've just gotta start the whole level over. There's no way (that I know of, at least) to re-arrange the lines you've drawn, and no way to just adjust the last line you drew. It's a reasonable (if annoying) limitation. After all, if the 5th angry bird I fire is off target, it's not like I can go back and just re-do that last shot. I've gotta start over completely. So I somewhat get it.

Still, I'd love to see the ability to re-arrange a line once I've drawn it. Once I run the level? Sure, require to start over from the beginning. But when I'm laying it out, I'd like to be able to re-arrange.

The slow cut scenes are what's keeping this from being a lot of fun, though. I can't just pick it up and quickly breeze through a few levels because it feels like I'm always sitting and waiting for animations to finish. I don't want to invest this much time in just watching things fade to black.

There's good potential here, though. If it can get tweaked this way, it'll totally be a 5 star game.

Would probably be better on a touch device

I'm not an iOS owner, but this game (while fun) feels like it should really be played on an iPad or iPod Touch. The Mac version (i.e. the mouse version) just doesn't have good flow. Also, and maybe I just haven't figured it out, but there are levels where I can't get the screen to scroll left/right. Presumably with touch input this could be done much easier.

The Cow is Back, Bigger is Better!

Very clever puzzler that will have you scratching your head on most of the levels. I first fell in love with Lazy Linda the cow on my iPhone after loving this devs other game Puzzle Dozer, then when they released the iPad version of Cart Cow I was surprised how beautiful everything is bigger and constantly play it on my iPad. Now to see it is available on my Mac, 27" of Cart Cow is breath taking and how awesome the levels are. This is a must buy period. Keep up the great work Gamesmold!
