One day after the Cat-Dog Peace Mediation was concluded, some dissatisfied members of the Dog faction—displeased with the order of the names “Cat” and “Dog”—attacked the Cat faction's Earth bases, resulting in the loss of 30% of all humanity. The Shimaenaga, seeking revenge against the Shimaenaga living in Earth's sphere, also dropped a giant meteorite onto the land. This reduced humanity to 30% of its pre-war population.
