Description
Cats are Liquid - A Better Place is a 2D platformer about a liquid cat and her friends.
- Slide across rooms as an ice block, float like a cloud, hookshot around with your tail, and utilize a bunch of other abilities!
- Explore 120 different rooms.
- Experience the story and find out how and why the world came to be.
- Create your own rooms with the included editor!
You play as the cat, in a place created just for you and your friends. You get to go on a nice adventure with them where nothing goes wrong and everything is perfect, as long as your friends stay there, right by your side.
Over the course of the game, you get to explore 120 rooms and discover new abilities like the hookshot and light burst.
A world editor is included.

- Fixed certain items with specific toggle platform settings causing the cat to immediately die upon spawning, if the spawnpoint was placed at room origin.
- Fixed toggle platform state not being set properly in certain situations when a room was loaded.
- Fixed typo in "There is no Alternation" music track name in the editor room settings view.
- Other fixes.

GOOD!
I didn’t expect much but this game is definitely good! The plot was ok since I could relate it to my life a bit but some of it was a bit overwhelming. Her friends like her but then now she doesn’t like them and then she leaves them and then she likes them and it’s just all over the place, but I can see the plot having potential. Overall, I love this game, gameplay is a bit hard but manageable for me, and some parts are a bit hard to get past, but I love this game! My first impressions of this game were really good tbh. I think this game is very creative and underrated, I seriously think this game has potential into getting big! I also love the feature where u can make ur own custom! Really enjoyable game, just some pros and cons.
Would rate higher, but the game sorta falls flat on it’s gameplay and plot
First of, while I played this using a controller, this game would be ridiculously frustrating to play using just a touch screen. With how precise the jumps and movement need to be some times. Which is probably why I first uninstalled this game from my phone.
Secondly the plot is a complete mess meant to set up a sequel. Sometimes her friends like her, sometimes they hate her. Sometimes SHE doesn’t like them and tries to get away from them. Just explain the characters and move on. There’s a glitch that keeps happening so is that the problem? It feels like they’re trying to make a sequel when the game really doesn’t need one. In fact, the mangled up thing they called a plot effects how bad some of the levels are. Like ALL of the ones with the block the player controls.
It’s an ok game. It just falls kinda flat compared to what I was expecting
Best Platformer Since Super Mario!
This game is AMAZING! For one thing, the game constantly keeps you entertained and interested in every world as each one has something new to offer, whether it is new enemies or obstacles, or a cutscene that leaves on a cliffhanger.
This is literally the best platformer I have every played and deserves way more respect than it has right now! It even has a simple level editor so once you finish the campaign, you can effectively draw inspiration and create your own little levels!
The only downside is that some mechanics, such as going through pipes are awkward with the game’s controls but otherwise, this game is totally worth it! Keep up the good work developers!
