Numbr is a private phone number app specifically designed for iPhone to protect the user's privacy. It is a simple and inexpensive way for those who need a disposable number to make international and domestic calls, send text messages or to have an anonymous backup number for everyday situations. No contracts, transparent fees, absolute privacy. NO HASSLES Our numbers come without a contract. You don’t need a cell phone plan or another device to use your second phone number. SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS Using your second phone number with Numbr is super-simple. Purchase a number, recharge credits and start calling or texting immediately. TRANSPARENT FEES Number calling and texting fees are as transparent as possible. By using the in-app Tariff calculator, you can check the cost per minute for outgoing and incoming calls or messages based on a specific country. UNRESTRICTED OWNERSHIP Purchase and keep your number for as long as you need or dispose of them anytime. Use Numbr in everyday situations: • Buying or selling things on Craigslist, eBay, or other e-commerce platforms • Dating • Hosting apartments on Airbnb • Using Uber • Applying for a job • Working (e.g. as a second work number) Phone numbers available in: USA, Canada, Sweden. PRICING Numbr is free to download and comes with 20 free credits. Phone numbers and additional credits are available through subscriptions and in-app purchases. Subscriptions for phone numbers: • Weekly subscription • Monthly subscription • Yearly subscription Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel the subscription once activated. Manage your subscriptions in Account Settings after purchase. IMPORTANT: Phone calls and text messages use prepaid credits. Area code availability varies. May not work with SMS shortcode services. Not for 911 or other emergency services. Text messaging to UK and US numbers is unavailable (UK, US, PR, VI, Guam, and American Samoa). Numbr now supports texting to VoIP numbers in the United States. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. You cannot text in the United States. The app will not allow text messages to US numbers. READ all information because it does state it, buried deep in the description. I contacted support and there is no refund unless you contact Apple. They offered me a license to another app I don’t have any use for. Do not fall for this nonsense. Update, they have now offered to work with me on getting a refund but gave me no information on how to contact them. They reacted to my negative review but I believe it was only for show so it appears on their reviews that they care.They have reached out again and offered a refund but the “contact us” links take you to a page that refers you to the settings of the now deleted app.

This is an updated review based on their response to my first review.First of all, they are still very AI centric. In the response, they don’t know the difference between pornography and Scripture. Scripture is what I tried to send myself. That is no way pornographic. Secondly, in the app itself there is no way to contact customer support. Had there been a way to do it in the app specifically I would’ve done so to dispute the blocking. there is a way to contact Support through the App Store, but I was unaware of that at the time. Again, if the publisher was sincere, they would reach out to me to either correct the problem or to refund me my money. But they can’t be bothered with human contact directly to try and resolve the issue.All I can say is buyer be aware of this publisher as they are not responsive to your actual troubles with their app.I sent a scripture to my own phone number and they suspended my account. Saying I was sending pornography. So much for AI Wasted $59 and 200 minutes wasted because the system thinks I did something wrong. No customer service number to call. What a p o s app.

Too many fees

Despite what they say in replies to reviews. THIS IS A SCAM. You have to pay for a subscription, on top of that you have to pay to choose your number, on top of that you have to pay per call or text. THIS IS A SCAM. If I pay for a phone subscription I should be able to pick my number AND use it. Also can’t use group texting and notifications don’t work. Useless AND expensive. YOU CANNOT GET A REFUND AND THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is a bait and switch. What they promise is not what you actually get. It’s not till you already paid for the subscription that you realize you can’t choose your number. If I ever get a refund I will be glad to update my review.
