Great app, very helpful

I’m moving to Chicago soon for college, so out of curiosity I downloaded this app. I’m from a relatively smaller city, and one without any good public transportation, so I wanted to know about the trains in Chicago, where they went, and which stops were closest to me. This map is very basic, but used in tandem with Google Maps is very useful! I can see where I need to go on Google Maps, what stop is closest to where I’m coming from and where I’m going on there, and then I can pop back into this app to see how the train works and make sure I don’t get off at the wrong stop. I did use it a lot when I visited Chicago for the first time. I didn’t get lost once. If I could rate 10 stars, I would. Works great, even in the subway tunnels. To maximize the potential, I suggest using it in tandem with Google Maps.

L is for Elevated!

Appears basic on first glance but beyond the flat offline map there's trip planners and live line updates. Worth getting if you travel the L regularly and can't rely on google maps loading (and stalling!)

Thanks for the review!

Decent map, but not much more

This app could really benefit from a trip planner and arrival times (if even possible in Chicago). The ads are a little annoying, but the app works well as a system map. I'd really love to see a Google Maps type option with stations showing exactly where the entrances are on the map when you zoom in the way iTrans NYC did.
