Clever PDF - Exactly what I needed

Clever PDF was what I needed to convert some bank statements into an excel spreadsheet. Since I had more data than the free version allowed, I paid for it, but the price was very reasonable, so it was a no-brainer. All of the reviews were very positive. The drag, drop, convert feature only took a few seconds, and the next thing I knew, I had excel spreadsheets with all the data. Of course, manual work will be needed to format the spreadsheet to get things precisely correct, but that is to be expected. Great tool. Thank you. Ron

Works when Others Fail

I have tried 5 other applications from the App store that say they convert from pdf to excel - all others failed to detect and transfer a credit card statement's Data. I mean the the tables with rows & columns of data were treated like a graphic and pasted into an excel spreadsheet. Useless.

But Clever PDF is diffent. It did it. Now I had a little trouble at first because the front two pages were often Not excel type data . But this app let's you select pages to port to excel - and that worked perfectly. Anything I did after that was to suit my own purposes - the data had been transferred successfully to right rows and columns of data that paralleled the credit card statement.

I did this because downloading transactions fromthe credit card company resulted in missing data. Needed something that reconciled to the statements.

The way computer applications should have been!

Simply outstanding! A lifesaver, I can combine many pdf’s and there are a dozen or two dozen other things I can do. Oh, how I wish there more computer applications liike this one… reminds me of mid-1990’s when applications were new and some were creatively constructed, then applications became written to the expectations of others and became slow and clunky. This application is a marvel and a joy!
