When uploading a cloud photo that is incorrectly identified, it would be nice to know what cloud it actually is. This would help with learning and proper identification. I realize the verification of clouds is likely done by volunteers so this may not be possible.
Also, which clouds are considered ‘rain clouds’ for achieving the Silver Lining badge of a rain cloud and a rainbow in the same day. Would it be any cloud that produces rain light, heavy or otherwise?
Thank you :) ⛅️🌦⛈☁️🌨🌩
Great but more please
I love using this.
But I would like more cloud types and features, like all the different types of cirrus and individual features in a larger formation like fractus. As well as other stuff I don't know about.
I'd also like expanded sections on what you can predict about weather and airflow from the clouds and changing formations.
I'd be prepared to pay for a higher detail add on to what is already a great app.
Thanks for making my days more fun.
Who knew all the fun if I just looked up!
Shades of 8th grade science/weather unit but much more fun. This app has added to my daily walks and I'm learning more than I did in 8th grade!
The descriptions are helpful (and clever) as are the multiple photos of each type of cloud and I'm having fun with collecting my badges and stars.
BUT, I would love 1.) feedback when I get it wrong and 2.) the ability to take a pic and identify later. I don't always have the time or the weather isn't cooperating.
