DISCLAIMER: I am currently writing this review after I’ve already uninstalled the game roughly half a year ago.

TDLR: Definite recommend- simple (don’t really have to use your brain that much) strategy, great graphics, good characters & backstory, and intriguing story. Also Korean.
I genuinely did enjoy playing the game, experiencing the story, the characters, and the combat. The only problem is, I played everything I’m fairly sure I could’ve and I’m not a very patient man so of course- I uninstalled to go download something else on my phone. I would come back if they added more story bits but personally it was a one and done deal. For those wanting to play I’d definitely recommend this game, great fun, nice time spender. You don’t have to pay to play/win, and it uses strategy (unless you filled your squad with overpowered units) to win the game, although it’s not Arknights kind of strategy I still do enjoy the simple strategy thing it has. (Soldier/mech-only squad viable when??)

When i first saw this game i was hyped and when i got the message that the pre-registered game was available to play I was even more excited. Its been a while since then and I must say that I genuinely enjoyed the game and events. However I noticed several p2w aspects that ruins the game for me. A new counter character is released one after another by the next week or so and its incredibly infuriating because of the lack of gems that we get from just playing, I don't want to have to spend so much money just to get one character that I want and the amount of money required to spend for skins is ridiculous, I know you need to make money but come on now this seems like over doing it. Lastly I want to talk about the horrendous storage issue. Every time the game needs to update i get an error that claims that the game cannot update due to insufficient storage even though i have mote than enough storage, because of this annoying issue it prevents me from opening and playing the game. At this rate I'm tired of storage issues. Like how much storage is required for an update? Its completely ridiculous to have to put up with such a turn-off from a pretty good game. please fix the storage issue.

Love this game, but feels like nothings happening. More attacks on an already easy Guild Boss. Why make the game easier when everyone is progressing? Its not like any extra rewards were added. Content should be getting harder, not easier. New PVE not much of a challenge. Revenue looks down and worried the game is gonna die. The added new PVP is nice, and glad they switch things up in there, but its just one click. Not much is being added and the challenge is not where it needs to be. I think they’re killing something that has more potential and there should be a lot more guild participation events, games and new, original content. Theres so many things they can do with what they have, but just keep pushing the same stuff. Echocalypse is a good example of a game thats currently engaging. Theres so many things for guilds to do together to advance and it keeps you engaged. Counterside maybe needs more types of game play that rotate throughout the month. I don’t want thins game to die anytime soon, but i and others are worried.
