A very good app that could be great.
I love task-managing apps—I use two that I consider top-notch. But whenever something new catches my attention, I have to try it. That’s the case with Planelle… It looks great! Planelle is perhaps the simplest task-managing app I’ve tried. That’s not a negative; to the contrary, it’s a plus. Scheduling tasks is fast, easy, and a joy to do.
However, it appears that most new task-managing apps popping up on the App Store lack a very critical feature: badge alerts for today’s and overdue tasks. Sadly, Planelle joins this trend. In my opinion, every task/to-do managing app should have this feature as basic functionality. Also, I would like to see a hint that you have future tasks scheduled in the calendar. This could be in the form of dots with whatever color you choose for your tasks on the day you schedule them for.
Lastly, Panelle is young, and I’m sure it will get better with time. My only hope is that it keeps simplicity at its core.

Our goal with Planelle is to create a digital planner that is truly useful and convenient, while keeping simplicity at its core. We want to avoid adding features that only create noise, and instead focus on improvements that genuinely help with daily productivity.
We fully agree with your suggestions about badge alerts for today’s and overdue tasks, as well as indicators for future tasks in the calendar. Both improvements are already in our roadmap and will be released in upcoming updates.

… if I could find a way to see all that I have already added.
It would also be better if you didn’t have to swipe up on the calendar to see thing to do and possibly on watch to mark things as done.
