Works but disappointed

I should have researched more before purchasing. Daysy app doesn’t sync with Apple Health and since I can’t input varying health details like other apps it doesn’t help me to get a full view of my cycle health (or as it relates to my general health) as others apps (Apple Health & Clue) have unless I input temperatures manually. I would have paid more for it if it delivered on theses pieces but as it stands it isn’t worth the $300 investment if you are wanting to use it to get large views of your health. Please make the app have the ability to sync with the Health app at minimum.

Edit: To the response: while I don’t claim to be well-versed on Apple’s data policies, there are other medical devices that share data to the Health App so don’t fully accept the explanation. I understand not sharing the algorithm Daysy uses with the app (may not be approved medically in some countries) but even just sharing the temperature would be helpful. Furthermore, a competitor allows data syncing to Health App so it appears there is a way to do so (at least in the US). The goal is to get a better view of my health by viewing it in the app next to other data. I hope an update to this ability comes soon.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, because Daysy is a medical device, and the DaysyView app is associated with Daysy, Apple Health does not allow us to share data with their app. We are hoping that Apple Health will change their policy in the future and are adding additional features to our app in the meantime. Horrible App

The app leaves a lot of room to be desired, and almost makes the daysy not worth it. I use both the daysy, and the Flo App just to cover my bases and Flo seems to be more on target.

Last month I used ovulation tests just to see how accurate my cycle was based on temperature readings. I synced the Daysy after a few days use, and entered the temperature data into Flo, Flo updated and correctly estimated my ovulation date, which was confirmed by the tests; daysy did not - It was off by *three* days.

I’ve been using this device since December, and while my yellow days have gotten fewer, the device seems to default on the 15th day of my cycle as being the ovulation date, which is extremely risky if you’re using this as your singular form of birth control. A far as I’ve been able to research, there’s no way to change this.

I can never edit period dates from the app, or log notes either - the app just flat out won’t let me. It not once has given me notification that it’s successfully synced, and yet my temperature data always shows up.

It’s a shame such a great device has such a useless app to go with it.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. Please stay tuned for new and exciting features in the coming app updates.

Regarding your ovulation predictions, please contact your local support team for a detailed analysis of why Daysy is defaulting to CD15. Please also note that the ovulation marker in a current cycle is only a prediction and while this prediction will become more accurate the longer you use Daysy, the daily analysis of your data is what determines if ovulation has passed or not and why you may continue to receive red/yellow days after the predicted ov day has passed.

Your customer support team can also provide detailed instructions on how to edit menstruation on your Daysy if you have a Daysy 2.0. To edit anything through the app, please be sure to synchronize for the current day first. Once you receive the Daysy syncing window, then the window with the 3 petals and the dates on the calendar fill in, you have received a successful synchronization.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be used to further enhance the app.

I love this product!!!

Ok, so to be honest. The product is fantastic!! It’s the first thing I’ve found that has helped me feel in control of my cycle. I think it would be a wonder for people trying to conceive, or have endometriosis, or PCOS, or even just don’t want to have to take a medical contraceptive!
I’m not going to lie, the app has had its issues. But none have have prevented me from using the product. The only issue I have had the last year is that it won’t connect the first time I try to log my temp in the morning. But it always works the second time. And it keeps your temperature for 24hrs. Which is amazing if you don’t have time to mess with it in the morning.
Also, if the app is messing up, you can still just look at the light on the thermometer to see if you are ovulating, or not. Or just to put in that you’re on your period. So I’d say COMPLETELY worth the money. I will use it forever!!

Thank you for your feedback! Your data is always stored on Daysy, so please don't ever worry about losing the data if you do not sync for a period of time. Customer support will be happy to assist you regarding the issue of the incomplete synchronization on the first try.
